The Board of the Orpheus Choir of Toronto
Our Board of Directors is composed of singing and non-singing members. Those members are:
- William Ford, Chair
- Beatriz Lobo Campos
- Deborah Kim
- Jessica Newman
- William Peat
The Board meets six to eight times a year. Because it is a working Board, many of its tasks and commitments fall outside the formalities of the meeting environment. The Board has several broad areas of responsibility:
- Governance
- Finance
- Marketing
- Development
- Information Technology
- Program Development
- Membership
Board members provide leadership for these areas of responsibility and, as needed, they develop teams to support them.
In a nutshell, the purpose of the Board is to support the Artistic Director in the realization of his creative vision within the broad mandate of the organization’s Vision, Mission, & Values statement.
